BlueBrick.ie is a website set up by the 14 Institutes of Technology to help learners find part-time and flexible opportunities to increase their skills.
Flexible learning refers to “non-traditional” courses that the colleges provide, including part-time, evening, online and distance courses. Many existing courses are being converted to these flexible formats.
BlueBrick.ie recognises that learners make their educational journeys at different speeds and in different ways. The programmes on offer are aimed at people irrespective of their employment status.
Minister for Education and Science Batt O’Keeffe has called it “as important to part-time learners as the CAO is to direct entrants and school leavers”.
