Discover Science & Engineering (DSE) is Ireland’s national science promotion programme. It aim to increase interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics among students, teachers and members of the public.
Our mission is to contribute to Ireland’s continued growth and development as a society – one that has an active and informed interest and involvement in science and innovation.
Overall DSE objectives are to:
- Increase the numbers of students studying in these areas
- Promote a positive attitude to careers in science, engineering, technology and mathematics
- Foster a greater understanding of science and its value to Irish society
